More about us
Since 1989, our aim has been to preserve and treasure Swedish culture and language among our members. We follow Skolverkets curriculum for supplementary Swedish, ensuring high-quality education for our students.
With support from Skolverket and members of Svenska Utlandsskolornas Förening, we can effectively manage our operations and obtain resources to develop our teaching.
Our association is entirely run by volunteer parents, which creates a strong sense of community among all our members. Through our community, we have the opportunity to collectively appreciate Swedish traditions, language and culture while integrating them in a way that fits our environment here in Brighton.
In the lessons we only speak Swedish to enhance the children’s language development, but what is most important is of course to create an environment where the children feel comfortable and have fun. We strive to make learning a fun and engaging experience through interactive lessons, creative activities, and exciting projects.
